GAVVA

Hailing from West London GAVVA’s musical journey began in his early teens playing his dad’s Motown vinyl collection. His soulful taste in music was always going to mean that it would lead him towards house music.In the early 90s his nights out was at Flying events. The likes of Andrew Weatherall, Terry Farley and Rocky & Deisel were regular DJs and became idols of his.

GAVVA and his DJ partner, Biggsy, started their own event on a Friday night at The Villa bar ,Uxbridge (Zest). GAVVA went on to playat Menace (Paddington) and then the pair had a Sunday evening event at the Firs Hotel (Slough).GAVVA’s DJ escapades took him to Gran Canaria, Aiya Napa and to Falaraki and Lindos on the Greek island of Rhodes.

Back in the UK he has played at Gas, Limelight and SOHO Theatre aswell as clubs around the UK.
In eary 2000 he hosted a Saturday morning radio show on Vision FM before taking a break to bring up his young children.

Returning to radio after a 20 year break has led to him back out playing to a new generation of music lovers & club goers. His travels have taken him to Amsterdam, Ravensburg in Germany and Cancun in Mexico.
2026 sees GAVVA turn producer releasing tracks, for the first time in his DJing journey, so keep an ear out for them.
