Dr dc funk I started DJing in 1990 at Club Roots in Plymouth, building from local gigs into clubs, private events and venues across the UK.

I went on to play nationwide before moving to London, where I DJ’d on pirate radio and in clubs including Ministry of Sound (early years), Bagley’s, Club UK, The Wag Club, Camden Palace, Astoria and Hammersmith Palais.

I’ve performed alongside artists including Boy George and worked as a backing DJ for Alexander O’Neal, Jocelyn Brown, Loose Ends and The Fatback Band.

My sets cover a wide range of styles including soul, funk, R&B, rare groove, dancehall, UK garage, house, jungle and drum & bass, plus classic party music from across the decades.
