djPupilas, also known as Marga López-Palomino, began her journey in Madrid’s Malasaña scene in the late 80s, moving from bar work into DJing at iconic venues before settling in Gijón.
She went on to manage the legendary Ya’sta club for seven years, helping shape it into a recognised name in Spain’s electronic music scene. She has also been part of the disco-punk group Micromachines and collaborated on recent projects with international artists.
As djPupilas, she has performed across Spain and the UK, playing a mix of soul, funk, disco and house at festivals and well-known venues.
Alongside DJing, she has organised events and festivals, been part of major sound systems, judged Benidorm Fest 2024, and hosts a weekly show on GLX Radio FM.
