DJ Libby Lawes

Libby Lawes Gen X raver of the nineties turned DJ after becoming a Mum in her early 40s.
She started out colloborating with Mikee Freedom who gave her gigs in Bristol in exchange for designing flyers. Libby came in looking for a sound which she later developed through many empty dance floors and fields. She started getting noticed for her sound of That feeling of the 90’s enriched with modern technology and creative mixing.

Bookings started coming in and she became a name around the south west club and festival scene. Appearing on alot of radio shows, womens slots, and the deep dark dirty rave scene of Bristol.

During the lockdowns Libby started up a collective with other DJs and producers playing all the new tunes chatting on live streams until rock star Youth from the Orb and Killing Joke started watching the livestreams and offered Libby a slot to play at his festival Space Mountain, where Libby hit a high of warming up for Adamski and Darren Emmerson.
Now after a hiatus of going off grid and all the challenges that brings Libby is coming back to the radio to recreate her uplifting sounds and raise the vibrations again.
